How the squares work
A square is shaded, crossed, or left blank.
The three states
- Shaded
- Crossed
- Blank
Shaded: done. Crossed: not today, and that's all right.
Try it
Tap to shade, press and hold to cross. Nothing is saved.
Enter shades a square. Shift+Enter crosses it. Delete, or Clear, makes it blank.
Two states, on some pages
Year in Colour and Seasons are two-state. They use blank or shaded only. There is no cross.
Enter moves between blank and shaded. A press and hold does not cross.
Houseplant
My Little Houseplant Diary uses its own key.
Shaded: watered. Crossed: no water today. Often that's the right call.
